In the near future

A baby is born. Its DNA is taken via swab, an 18MB file produced of the pairings; a photographic certificate produced showing the baby with its parent(s) at a location with GPS coordinates and a copy of the actual birth as a video clip; a timestamp of the birth. Other data such as blood type, ear profile and retina imprint will be recorded.

This information will be updated onto a side blockchain linked to the unique public key (id), as this data will change over the life of the person. A chip is inserted behind the child’s ear.

Orwellian or dystopian as it may sound, it’s not a far as you may think. This primary data will be uploaded to the public blockchain like this:

{“grandeo”:{“chainkeyio”:[{“identity”:“87002032F233639C95982E403A82D2B079B6426A4C513FA8AA32C758DA4267A8”,“dna”:“e3b0c44298fc1c149afbf4c8996fb92427ae41e4649b934ca495991b7852b855”,“location”:“38.8977N77.0365W”,“startdate”:“1536565982",”enddate”:“”]}}

The private key to access these records will be recorded in the chip. When the person uses a device like a smartphone it will validate the user with data from the chip plus:

  • Take DNA from the fingerprint
  • Validate your ear lobe profile
  • Facial recognition
  • Hand shake

We believe all commerce services will call the primary blockchain to verify users. This will end passwords completely and all data will be shared. There will be no duplication of effort and databases will disappear completely. Our Stor3 prototype, Chainkey has stored human genomes and DNA samples on the blockchain. We’re closer than we think….
